How it works
Two ways in, three steps each. Articles open in our reader; web pages open on their own site with the extension.
Articles
Read in the InterStand reader. Nothing to install.
Pick an article in the article library and open it in the reader.
Sign in; a free account is enough. The explanation is already there and uses none of your plan's pages.
Switch between the languages the article is explained in from the language menu above the text. Any other language runs at the usual price.
Web pages
Read on the original site with the extension.
Install the InterStand extension for Chrome or Edge and sign in.
Open any page from the library on its own website.
A small bar offers the marks. One click shows them, free of charge and without using any of your plan's pages.
Common questions
Does it cost anything?
No, and it uses none of the pages in your plan: our team analysed these articles and pages in advance, so the explanation is simply there when you open them.
The article is not explained in my language. What then?
Each article lists the languages it is explained in free; in the reader you switch between them from the language menu. Any other language can be generated there at the usual price.
I opened the page and no bar appeared. What should I check?
Three things: the extension is installed and enabled for that site, you are signed in, and you reloaded the page after installing.
Can I get marks on a page that is not in the library?
Yes. Any public page can be analysed the usual way, with the pages included in your plan or with Points; the library only saves you that step on the pages our team chose.
The page's text belongs to its website. InterStand adds a reading layer and links to the original; nothing of the page is republished here.
